Notes
As you can see the builds is so far from optimised, it actually hurts. That said it still gets shit - up to hard difficulty - nicely done. The Model 700 has very high base damage so I can one shot normal enemies with a headshot. It has low ammo and long reload but that's still a good trade-off. The rifle is for medium-range combat and with the bonuses from the sharpshooter specialisation it the best secondary for this build.

Crafting & Recalibration

Tips

  • Visit all 3 Vendors (BOO, Theater, Campus) daily and buy those blueprints.
  • The Underground has massive amounts of loot just waiting to be grabbed. Loot Chests reset daily.
  • Capturing Level 3 Control Points gives you a Blueprint as a reward.
  • Keybind the "Instant Use Agent Skill 1/2" to something you can access easily.
  • If you play solo the Revive Hive rezzes you automatically - Chem Launcher heal is the best heal.

Open Beta Patch Notes

They increased drop rate for Sig Weapons Ammo which was need imo... I got like zero when playing survivalist. Will test it which may change the Brand Sets.

Thanks for write up Circus!

Hard to determine which specialisation i'll go with Sharpshooter and Survivalist seems like the most preferable, but if i'm honest with myself i probably play in the style best suited for a Demolitionist.

Look forward to jumping in giving it a whirl.

Small advice on early perks and crafting while you level up.

Perks:
Unlock the 5 Accolade Perks right after you get your second weapon and skill slot. The bonus XP will pay off in the long run.
Get the 2 Deconstruction Perks after that.

Crafting:
You get access to higher tier (i.e.: blue, purple, yellow) a bit earlier through crafting before they start dropping in open world. So it is viable to keep your gear updated (at least a little bit) through crafting. The crafting mats you get from deconstruction early game weapons will be usable and needed throughout the game - even endgame.
So when you start levelling, I suggest you put your green/blue drops, that you don't need, into your stash and wait with deconstruction until you unlock both deconstruction perks.
Sell all grey's to make some money.

I'm going Survivalist. This matches my favourite playstyle from Division 1, and I don't like too much change! 🥴

Quick update on the levelling tips:

I'm 17 now with all pre 30 perks already unlocked. The Accolade Perks might get you a level in the end so it is really just a little boost. I found the deconstruction perk quite useful as well as all perks that expand your inventories.

Except for the Mods - which you only need to craft one time - I haven't crafted a single items so far. The loot is real! :)

You get a lot of projects which require you to donate specific armor (like 3 gloves, etc.), so it's super useful to keep 3 trash items of each armor type in your inventory - lets you finish those projects faster.

I updated the first post:

More space for inventory and crafting mats is very useful as well.

Not really needed during the levelling process, except for the Mods which you only need to craft one time.
Deconstruct everything you don't need.

Having one dude in your party run with a flame turrent was really helpful! Locks those elites down! Also bring the HoT Hive and the Revive Hive.

And about the Revive Hive - if you go down, and the skill is not on CD - it will automatically go off and revive you! Very helpful.

I like the look of the Sharpshooter tree but if I want to build around ballistic shield it's probably more suited to go down the demo route...

I updated the first post. It will feature the our weekly clan projects so we can focus a bit more on getting those done. Also included my current sharpshooter build and keep it updated as game progresses - its not min/maxed or optimised at all.

Just started to get into crafting an recalibration - so more info on that will follow.

The last section is just some general Tips that will help you out in-game.

If you want to help out with builds, submit yours, etc. just send everything to me and I will update it in first post - thanks!
