Cyrus Squads - Rules and LFG!

Welcome to the Cyrus Squads section!

The idea behind Cyrus Squads is to create regular small groups for co-op, multiplayer and competitive games. Rather than playing with randomly created teams which inevitably fail to progress, members will hone their skills with a familiar team, co-ordinate and improve their gameplay and communications, and seek to improve the overall squads effectiveness and competitiveness.

We currently have the following vacancies in our squads:

THE DIVISION (100% Tactical) - CLOSED for recruitment
FOXHOLE (Private Parts) - CLOSED for recruitment
PUBG (Team Awesome Force) - CLOSED for recruitment
ROCKET LEAGUE (The High Octanes) - CLOSED for recruitment

Here are some basic rules for being a Cyrus Squad member:

1. Being a member of Cyrus Squads requires a level of commitment in both persistence and activity. Members should be intent on completing a game where applicable, and improving their rank where available. Quitters are not welcome!

2. Scheduling is organised by each Squad Leader and confirmed within the squad's individual forum thread. Squads should aim to meet at least two evenings per week. Evenings will begin at 19:30 UK.

3. All Squad members should actively participate in and improve the Cyrus Gaming Community as a whole. This includes posting on our forums, chatting in Discord, and generally being a social gamer.

4. When required, Squad members will assist with recruiting new members for their squad via Reddit, official forums and other social media.

5. Squad members will undertake to be on the Cyrus Discord server whenever they are playing a multiplayer game (fair use of the Silent Channel is of course available). Socialising outside of pre-arranged Squad nights is to be encouraged!

6. Always follow the chain of command: Common Sense -> Squad Leader -> Guild Leader -> Guild Leaders Wife. Please try to resolve any disputes like a grown up, and if you are intent on creating drama at least do it on the forums so that we can all enjoy it.

7. Age requirement is 18+ or a convincing liar. Language requirement is English or close enough.

Hey Flacko, thanks for registering and posting. Peedy will take over and you can discuss what times and when to do. One of our guys is moving so he's away until Friday.

3. I'd definitely be down for 3 or 4 sessions a week, in all likelihood more.
4. Right now there are no no-go evenings, but I'm relocating in a few weeks and that could change, though I'd likely only be setting aside one night at the weekend.
5. Beginner, I'm definitely looking to get to grips with the game with a squad, though I did flirt with the pre-alpha. That said, I'm sure I can get up to speed fairly quickly.

3. How many evenings are you looking to play per week: Depending on the workshift. 2 out of 3 weeks I work in the morning so id be ready to play at evening, the evening shift, i could play at night

Hi Dokhaz, welcome! Thank you for registering and posting, I gotta say it's hard to find people who do that nowadays (mostly, they just link me their steam without even saying hello) and it's refreshing to see someone that can be bothered.
