The Mage is one of the main damage dealing class concepts for Camelot Unchained. It focuses on extremely high damage output and performs best when a battle remains in a fixed location. Mages can draw on the elements of Fire, Water and the Void (moon and stars), and perform best when supported by their allies - especially a healer!
The Support class is a buffing / debuffing class concept for Camelot Unchained focusing on speed and resource manipulation. They can greatly boost movement speed both in and out of combat for all grouped allies, and also use auras to improve their own groups effectiveness or hinder that of their enemies. They are not a healing class!
The Healers are a pure healing class concept for Camelot Unchained. Their role is to keep allies alive during combat, and they do not offer any DPS support. Healers will be most effective when healing an allies individual body part rather than general body heals or AoE. They are one of the three classes confirmed for Beta 1.
The Devout is a magical hybrid healing / Mage class concept for Camelot Unchained. The Devout offer good flexibility for groups as they can switch between supporting either the healers or the damage output depending on the situation in the field. As such they will have a lot to focus on during the battle and will require good awareness.
The Archer is a physical ranged DPS class concept for Camelot Unchained specialising in dealing piercing damage from distance while maintaining good mobility. The Archer performs well against light armoured enemies, whereas the Mage will do better against heavy armour. The Archer is the only ranged DPS class confirmed for Beta 1.
The Heavy Fighter is a melee class concept for Camelot Unchained specialising in soaking up damage and disrupting the enemy faction, thus providing good cover for their allies. This is a front line, defensive class that has the ability to deal good damage at the same time. The Heavy Fighter is the only melee class confirmed for Beta 1.
